We have intra-oral cameras that allow us to look more closely at your teeth and digital x-rays that allow detailed low radiation examination in certain circumstances.

If you wish, you can see what we see, magnified 40 times on a LCD TV monitor which is mounted on the ceiling. This will enhance patient understanding and motivation.

Intra-oral Camera:

The intra-oral camera takes fantastic close-up pictures of teeth.

This technology isn't exactly new -- what's new is the ability to store and view these images on a computer, not just a television screen.

This allows us to look at the same picture at a later date and compare then and now.

It also allows us to send the image to insurance companies or dental specialists so they can view the same images (both x-rays and pictures) as we consult over the phone.

The images can also be printed for you to take home.

The biggest advantage is that we can now -- with very great detail -- show you exactly what we see in your mouth, which lets you make a much more informed decision on your dental care.
